United States Navy
The United States Navy possessed one of the most powerful battlelines in history from the end of the WWI till the end of the WWII. The Washington Naval Treaty of 1922 ("the most effective antiship weapon ever") killed many projects on the ways. In the mid '30-ies the battleship construction resumed and many new ships were laid down. This resulted in the designing of battleships with 60,000+ tons displacement to counter any existing or known enemy ship/design. If you look trough these drawings you will find some of these ships, and also some well known would have beens.
Hope you will enjoy this one too!
